This Privacy Policy describes how Wealthr ("we", "us", or "our") handles information when you use the Wealthr app available at getwealthr.com and on the Google Play Store.
Wealthr is designed with privacy at its core. All financial data you enter — including bank balances, portfolio holdings, crypto, budget categories, bills, pensions and property — is stored only on your device using your browser's localStorage and IndexedDB. We do not collect, transmit or store any of your personal financial data on our servers.
Wealthr Pro is a paid subscription available at £1.49/month. Payments are processed securely by Google Play. We do not handle or store your payment details directly. Google's privacy policy applies to all billing transactions. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time via Google Play.
Wealthr uses the following third party services to provide live data. These services are only contacted when you actively use the relevant feature:
Each service's own privacy policy applies to requests made to their APIs. No personally identifiable information is sent to any of these services.
If you enable bill reminders, the app will request permission to send push notifications. Notifications are generated locally on your device by the service worker and do not pass through our servers. You can revoke notification permission at any time in your device settings.
If you enter a Twelve Data API key in Settings, this key is stored locally on your device only and is never transmitted to our servers. It is sent directly to Twelve Data's API when you refresh stock prices.
All your data is stored in your device's localStorage and IndexedDB. This means your data stays on your device and is never backed up to the cloud by us. If you clear your browser data or uninstall the app, your data will be permanently deleted. We strongly recommend using the Export Backup feature in Settings regularly.
Wealthr is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children under 13.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
